A women who tried to steal from Jeopardy host Alex Trebek‘s hotel room on Wednesday July 27th, 2011 has been ordered to stay away from Alex, 71. Alex discovered the women in his room and tried to catch her and he snapped his Achilles tendon and had to undergo surgery to repair it.
Lucinda Moyers, 56, was caught by police and charged with felony burglary and possession of stolen property. The judge slapper a $650,000 bail on her and issued a restraining order where she cannot go withing 150 yards of Alex or his wife.
An arraignment was set for Monday August 1st, 2011.
