Hugh Hefner, 86,   invited The Wanted – which is made up of Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes – to his infamous home to hang out with the models and enjoy a barbecue.

In a post on his twitter page, Hugh revealed: “The Wanted, a UK boy band, had a BBQ poolside while the girls & I were playing dominos. We shot a few photos together. Cristal Camden won tonight’s domino game with Amanda Streich, Caya Ukkas, Shera Bechard, Anna Berglund, Trisha Frick & me. A fun night. (sic)”

The group were thrilled to be invited to the Mansion, in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, and the visit was extra special for Nathan because it coincided with his 19th birthday and before they headed to Hugh’s home they made an appearance on the US version of ‘The Voice’.

In a series of tweets, he wrote: “Guess that means I’m 19 … Had so much fun on #thevoice Everyone go and get #chasingthesun now!! Gonna celebrate my bday in style!! (sic)”

Tom took his twitter page to praise the media mogul for his hospitality describing him as a “legend”.

Courtney Love’s Daughter Frances Bean Cobain Wants Her Banned from Twitter

Courtney Love's Daughter Frances Bean Cobain Wants Her Daughter Banned from Twitter

Frances Bean Cobain, 19,  wants her mother Courtney Love banned from Twitter. The teenager, who has been estranged from her only parent for a few years, said: “While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother.”

Frances obtained a restraining order against her mother in 2009 and court papers recently released claimed she was terrified the Hole singer would cause both of their deaths in a fire.

She said in a sworn court statement: “[Love] has taken drugs for as long as I can remember. She basically exists now on … Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes.

“She rarely eats … She often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives.”

Axl Rose with Guns N’ Roses Has refused The honour Of Going Into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Axl Rose with Guns N' Roses Has refused The honour Of Going Into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Axl Rose,  50 co-founder of the group Guns N’ Roses who has been locked in a feud with former band mate Slash for the last 15 years – insists he will not attend the The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday (14.04.12) and does not want his name to be inducted in his absence but organisers say they will continue as planned.

A spokesperson told E! News: “We are sorry Axl will not be able to accept his induction in person. We are looking forward to still inducting Guns N’ Roses this weekend and will proceed forward with our original plan whether Axl is present or not.”

In an open letter to the Hall of Fame, Axl said he initially felt “honoured” and “excited” by the invitation, and hoped some good would come out of it.

However, after being, “polite, courteous and open to an amicable solution in our efforts to work something out,” Axl decided to boycott the event.

He explained: “Since the announcement of the nomination we’ve actively sought out a solution to what, with all things considered, appears to be a no win, at least for me, ‘damned if I do, damned if I don’t', scenario all the way around.”

Confirming his intent to stay away, he said: “I respectfully decline my induction as a member of Guns N’ Roses to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  “I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorised nor may anyone be permitted to accept any induction for me or speak on my behalf.

“Neither former members, label representatives nor the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame should imply whether directly, indirectly or by omission that I am included in any purported induction of Guns N’ Roses.”

Axl continues to tour and record with Guns N’ Roses, but is the only original member.

YAY my favorite singer Melissa Ethridge is back in the recording studio laying down some tracks.  Melissa had this to say about her new album:

She’s currently got 20 plus songs raring to be recorded for her follow up album to 2010’s Fearless Love, and will be working with producers Jacquire King and Steve Booker.

Can’t wait to hear it.  How about you do you love Melissa’s music as much as I do?

Looks Like Davy Jones Was Smoking Weed At The Time Of His Death

Looks Like Davy Jones Was Smoking Weed At The Time Of His Death

The lead singer Davy Jones of The Monkees passed away from a heart attack aged 66 February 29th, 2012.  According to an autopsy report that was released Davy had had cannabinoids in his system.  As you might surmise from the name, they’re a family of drugs that include marijuana.

TMZ reports: It’s unclear if the cannabinoids in question were from smoking marijuana, or from something else entirely — but the report is clear … the cannabinoids did NOT play a role in Davy’s death.  The toxicology report came back negative for other drugs.

What it does say is what many had already reported, that the 66 year-old died of a heart attack, with severe build-up in his arteries. He suffered the attack in February while visiting horses he owned at a Florida ranch, being pronounced death shortly after being rushed to hospital.

George Michael Unimpressed With Madonna’s New Music – Join The Crowd

George Michael Unimpressed With Madonna's New Music - Join The Crowd

George Michael joins such celebs as Elton John, David Furnish, and TMZ’s Harvey Levin in being unimpressed with Madonna and her new music. Interestingly, all of the above critics are openly gay and perhaps have grown tired of Madonna’s ingenuous attempts to appeal to the gay community. I mean all Madonna cares about is success – she is the ultimate famewhore. Madonna previewed her comeback track ‘Give Me All Your Lovin’ on Friday and although George liked the video – which features a cheerleader theme inspired by the singer’s Super Bowl XLVI Half Time appearance – he has put down the song itself.

George wrote on twitter:  “Just saw the Madonna video, she looks great. as for the song, err….don’t really think I should comment. Heheheh ….”  “Still, us gayboyz will probably fall for it again. We never learn :) According to her brother, she’s not very fond of having us around anymore”

“Hopefully that’s bull***t, family feud kinda thing (he’s gay).”

Referring to the track ‘Gang Bang’ and the title of the album, ‘MDNA’ – which is similar to the name of drug MDMA – he added:  “I just checked the album track listing, and it’s soooooo directed at Boyztown. And by the sounds of it she’s turned over a new leaf!”  “She’s into gang banging, MDMA (supergay drug), etc. Who’d have guessed?”  “My goodness, where does she find the time?”

Amid reports Madonna is once again reaching out to her gay fan base, openly homosexual singer George posted a link to a remix of one of his own songs ‘Every Other Lover’, advising Madonna that she can take some tips from him.
After the link he wrote:

“Now THATS what I call gay madge! :) only hit the gay clubs so far…..the first george michael song to feature words that rhyme with clock! or , err….duck :)

“If the lyric sounds its pro drug, listen again, it was originally going to be the answer song to true faith. It’s the drug of choice trying to convince the addict to keep on keeping on, as it were. In other words, you’ll have to listen a bit harder than usual to a GM choon .”

Paul McCartney Still Amazed That He Was In 'The Beatles'

Sir Paul McCartney still finds it hard to believe he was in The Beatles. The singer and songwriter started his career with the legendary pop group alongside John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison in the early 60s, and puts his humility down to the fact he never got too used to being a star.

Paul told the Metro newspaper:  “I’m lucky that I’ve always retained a sense of wonder. I was looking at the George Harrison book accompanying Martin Scorsese’s ‘Living In The Material World’ film recently and opened it at a picture George had taken of me and the other guys on an aeroplane.”

“It took me right back; I was like, ‘Was I really there, in The Beatles? Bl***y hell!’ It’s obviously a stupid thought but I’m glad I haven’t got used to it yet.”

Paul famously fell out with John after The Beatles disbanded in 1970 but said they were getting closer to repairing their relationship when he was murdered by Mark David Chapman in 1980, although Paul doesn’t think The Beatles would ever have got back together.

He added:  “We were getting our relationship back together when John was killed but I don’t think The Beatles would have got back together; we’d made a considered decision that we’d come from A to Z.”

George Michael Has Surprised His Doctors With How Fast He Recovered

George-Michael-Recovered-Fast

George-Michael-Recovered-Fast

George Michael who came close to death last year after battling the life-threatening illness pneumonia – was told by medics he is doing better than expected and George is so excited he has started writing songs again while on a holiday with boyfriend Fadi Fawaz.

He tweeted: “People, I’m excited … just finishing a ballad that I think is going to make you think my eighties self has been re-born!  Which I suppose it has in a way :) Even my tracheostomy scar is healing nicely in the sun, was looking a bit Bride of Chucky for a while.  Spoke to doctors before I came away and they told me my recovery is way quicker than can usually be expected so I’m happy as Larry. (sic)”

However, George, 48, is being careful not to overexert himself on holiday and passes the time when he is not writing songs by watching Fadi, 38, exercise.

He wrote on twitter: “Every day in every way I’m getting better and better. Or i just found somewhere comfy to lay down while Fadi worked out

“Somebody just walked up to us and we are officially the hottest gay couple on the planet… It’s true, the air conditioning here is s**t… (sic)”
